Nicki Minaj Says She’s Not Dating Meek Mill
Nicki Minaj’s press roll-out for her third solo endeavor, The Pinkprint has been pretty strong. From gracing numerous magazine covers, to even kicking it with Kenny Mayne on Sportscenter, Nicki Minaj is going all out in hopes of striking gold on Billboard. Today, she continued her press run by stopping on “Big Boy’s Neighborhood.” During their conversation, the subject of romance was brought up regarding her and Meek. According to Nicki, they’re simply friends and nothing more.
“You heard that? Is that the new news out?” she asked when the question regarding the status of her and Meek was brought up. “We’re friends. He’s dope. Shout out to him,” said Nicki.
Nicki and Meek have been frequent collaborators in the past, more notably on Minaj’s “Big Daddy” record. Despite the two being friends, she did admit to Big Boy that they lost touch while he was in jail. “The kid is very busy. I wished him well,” she said. “I hated that he was in jail because I thought he was in jail for something ridiculous, but no, I didn’t write him.”
