NEWS: Pusha T Comes At Wale On Twitter Over "Festivus" Mixtape

Pusha T Comes At Wale On Twitter Over "Festivus" Mixtape

Pusha T calls out Wale for not letting him he hear his final verse on the "Festivus" mixtape, calling him his "rap friend" not his "real friend."

As you may know, Wale got in the holiday spirit with A-Trak and recorded a new mixtape to precede his upcoming Album About Nothing, called Festivus. The mixtape is scheduled to drop this afternoon, and the MMG rapper has already delivered two tracks off it, "The Chess Match" over the weekend and "Loyalty" with Drew Baby and Fat Trel last night.
It appears as though one of Wale's featured artists, Pusha T, is upset with the rapper for not letting him hear the final version of his contribution, on a track called "Drown." Pusha Ton calls out Wale using the hashtag: #WaleJustMyRapFriendNotMyRealFriend, and: #WaleTreatPushaLikeRegularFolk, as well as: #WaleRudeLikeTheBlogsSay.
The tweets started about thirty minutes ago, when Pusha tweeted at Wale, "Aye @wale why I gotta wait til 3:31? #Festivus I did my verse for #Drown and u ain't even let me hear final!! #WaleRudeLikeTheBlogsSay."
He continued to @ Wale in the tweets that followed. Check them all out below. Tune in at 3:31 PM for Pusha's verse and the rest of the Festivus mixtape.

NEWS: Pusha T Says "King Push" Is Dropping Spring 2015

Pusha T Says "King Push" Is Dropping Spring 2015

Pusha T speaks on the "amazing" "King Push," revealing that it'll drop in Spring 2015.

With the "Lunch Money" video dropping last week, anticipation for Pusha T's King Push is building as we head into the new year. Lucky for us, Push has just given us some more details on the project in an interview with Rolling Stone
Most importantly, we learned that he's planning on dropping the album in the Spring, and he added the following:
"Aw, man, I'm working on it feverishly. It’s amazing. I feel like the sound will be second to none. And of course you already know the raps will be smacking people all left and right. I’ve been working on it constantly. I dropped 'Lunch Money' to show how far out me and 'Ye are going to go, just sonically. Now, I feel like people don’t know where the hell I’m going to go on the next record. And that’s where I want them to be. 'Unorthodox' has become synonymous with Pusha T’s music, back to records like 'Grindin'.' Everybody’s gonna be really locked in and shocked to see how I’ve raised the level of musicality from My Name Is My Name to King Push."
Excited? Let us know in the comments.

VIDEOS: Rap Monument (Verses)

Rap Monument (Verses)

Nipsey Hussle, Problem, Flatbush Zombies, and Meyhem Lauren are the latest rappers to unveil their verses for "The Rap Monument".

A couple weeks back, "The Rap Monument" -- a project which recruited 30 rappers for one epic track -- was revealed. While we're still not sure when the NOISEY and Hennessey-sanctioned song will arrive, we do know that the record is produced by Hudson Mohawke and S-Type, engineered by Nick Hook, and will feature verses from the likes of Pusha T, Danny Brown, Raekown, Action Bronson, and many more.
Rather than dropping the full track, the verses from the "Monument" have been rolling out one at a time. Within the last couple of days, four new verses from Nipsey Hussle, Problem, Flatbush Zombies, and Meyhem Lauren have been released.

You can watch the rappers perform their 16s in-studio below. Who's verse are you looking forward to hearing the most?

Damn, "Rap Monument" is gonna be one long-ass song, that's for sure. The project, which is slated to come out by the year's end, features verses from 30 different rappers, like Pusha T, Danny Brown and Young Thug, and will be a wopping 30-minutes long. The latest MC to add his bars to the monument is Wu-Tang's very own Raekwon. This behind-the-scenes video gives us a glimpse of the production process for the upcoming project and we get to see Raekwon tag his name on a wall, chop it up with homies, and spit into the mic with so much force and intensity that you can hear it in his voice.

NEWS: Pusha T Explains Accidental Release Of "Lunch Money"

Pusha T Explains Accidental Release Of "Lunch Money"

Pusha T reveals he's been in the studio with The-Dream and Tricky Stewart for "King Push," and explains how "Lunch Money" leaked.

Pusha T's first single off the highly anticipated sophomore solo album King Push, "Lunch Money," left some fans a bit confused, while others were loving the aggressive rhymes and weird-ass beat. Whatever the case may be, the song was actually inadvertently leaked by Google Play, something which Pusha Ton discussed during a recent interview with Revolt TV.
While we've only heard one record off King Push so far, Push is confident he'll once again have people calling his album "album of the year."
"I've been in with Kanye, I've been in with The-Dream and Tricky, and you guys are in store man this King Push album's gunna be album of the year," the former Clipse rapper said. "Kanye's gunna executive produce this one."
As for "Lunch Money," Pusha T explains the story behind the leak. "What people don't know is, "Lunch Money" wasn't supposed to come out when it did. It was an accident," Push said. "In dealing with iTunes and Google Play and things like that, you have to queue it up early. So we queued up a version early, for the space, and ‘Ye decided to take it out of the queue, because he wanted to do other things that you hear in the beat now. And you know, he be gone, I be gone, things get lost in translation and it didn’t get taken out of the queue for Google Play. So that’s how people had the wrong version first. And when people had the wrong version, and I found that out, I was like it has to go, we gotta just put it out."
