Off-Duty Cop Is Suing The Game For $12 Million

The off-duty cop whom The Game punched and threatened during a basketball game is now seeking a lot of money.

Although The Game turned himself in over the punch he threw at an off-duty cop during a March basketball game, it looks like things are far from over. The West Coast rapper was booked earlier this week and already posted his bail of $50,000-- but the cop he punched wants him to shell out a lot more.

The off-duty cop, name Onyebuchi Awaji, filed a $12 million lawsuit against the rapper. Does that sound about right? As we first reported, The Game got into a fight with Awaji during a Pro-Am basketball game in L.A., and the heated argument led to The Game punching the fellow player and threatening to kill him.

Awaji is now seeking a big pay day to help remedy his sufferings (physical, emotional, and financial). According to court documents, the breakdown is as follows:

Pain and suffering: $1,000,000
Emotional distress: $1,000,000
Medical expenses (to date): $50,000
Medical expenses (future): $100,000
Punitive damages: $10 million

The lawsuit was actually filed in April (a month after the incident), but Game has yet to respond. The rapper is currently awaiting trail.

The Toronto Raptors' global ambassador, like anyone knows what that is, took to instagram to show off his new digs which is straight out of a teenager's dream, complete with a 'Supreme' rug. It's only a matter of time until somebody drops a tomahawk dunk and tears down the sheetrock but for now at least, this is the ultimate YOLO sanctuary. 

As for Drake's hometown squad, the Raptors are currently riding a three game losing streak heading into tonight's matchup against MJ's Charlotte Hornets, who have rattled off three straight W's.

50 Cent’s son Marquise Jackson got game on the basketball court, but sometimes being the child of a celebrity comes with a small price. According to Marquise, opposing players try to use his celebrity lineage to get him out of his game on the court. “A lot of people, they come at me,’ lil’ Fif told TMZ. “They say it’s because of my dad. Or they think I’m not good. But at the end of the day, I show them I can play.”

Quise, who says he would skunk his famous father in a game of one-on-one, definitely has skills and is hoping to acquire a full athletic scholarship to a D-1 school to further his education. Is rapping in his future?
