NEWS: THE REAL STORY ABOUT HOW THE YEEZY BOOSTS LEAKED

THE REAL STORY ABOUT HOW THE YEEZY BOOSTS LEAKED
You think you know, but you have no idea... this is the story of how the Yeezy Boosts leaked.
By now, you're all familiar with Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost, as the kicks have become one of the most sought after sneakers of the year. Prior to their release in February, the sneakers were leaked on instagram courtesy of IBN Jasper, the man who has been Kanye's personal barber since before 'The College Dropout.'
In a recent interview, Jasper explains how he became the person to deliver the first images of the Yeezy Boost, after receiving permission from Kanye himself.
“We were in the back of the car on the way to the Tidal release and Ye just casually told me to post a pic of the Boosts.”
“He had to have thought about the lift that posting the Boosts would give me,” Ibn insists. “He just encouraged me to post. The media wants to make him this monster. They never focus on his charity.”
Those six leaked images blew up all over the internet, creating even more hype around the shoe, and IBN Jasper walked away with nearly 30,000 new followers- which is all that really counts anymore.
The Yeezy 750 Boosts will be re-releasing in June, as will a low-top version dubbed the Yeezy 350 Boost Low.

NEWS: Kanye West Announces Album Title, Shares Possible Artwork

Kanye West Announces Album Title, Shares Possible Artwork

Another godly title for Yeezus.

Kanye West's already had a huge week, effectively breaking the internet with a performance of "All Day" at the BRIT Awards, and now he's made a big announcement on Twitter. His new album will be called So Help Me God, and he shared it with an image that could very well be the album art, especially considering his recent fondness for minimal design. According to Stereogum, the symbol in the artwork is a "13th Century monastic symbol for the Virgin Mary."
Check out his announcement below, and let the wild speculation begin. Here are our predictions about the Yeezus follow-up.

The cover features Kanye West, Lana Del Ray and Lucian Grainge.

Kanye West covers Billboard's Power 100 issue.

Yeezus season is approaching. For his latest headlining news, Kanye West covers Billboard‘s annual Power 100 issue.
Draped in all black, Kanye goes the usual “no smile” route, while sitting alongside fellow Universal Music Group artist Lana Del Rey and UMG chairman/CEO Lucian Grange, who ranks #1 on the power list.
The rest of the list includes people like Apple’s Jimmy Iovine, Roc Nation’s Jay Brown, Epic Records’ L.A. Reid and Sylvia Rhone, and Cash Money’s Birdman and Slim. If you like, you can peep the full list here.
Looking ahead, Kanye is going to be one busy man in the coming weeks. Not only is he slated to perform alongside Rihanna at this Sunday's Grammy Awards, but he's also set to debut a a new song as well. Aside from that though, we just found out yesterday that Yeezy will also be a part of this year's NBA All-Star weekend, which comes the week after the unveiling of his new Adidas x Yeezi 3 collab.
