The doc explores several slums, shanty towns and ghettos in Uganda, Cambodia and Yemen.

Nas and The Guardian have put together a six-minute documentary about Hip Hop's influence across the world.

The doc, titled "The Real Hip Hop," explores several slums, shanty towns and ghettos in Uganda, Cambodia and Yemen, where there is a passion for Hip Hop.

A handful of natives speak about the music genre's impact in their country in the doc.

"We know that we can't dance our way out of poverty," a young boy says. "But with break-dancing we feel like we can do anything."

Nas does not appear in the film.

Nas made one of his most critically acclaimed albums yet with the release of Life Is Good, but the New York rapper has been pretty reclusive since then. Of course, the rumor that he'll eventually do an album exclusively with DJ Premier has been thrown around, but Nas himself has stated that his next album will not be the Primo record.

Nas recently linked up with Hennessy to shoot this new advertisement dubbed “The Ride”.

Taking a trip down memory lane, the legendary Queens emcee hops on the train and recites an a capella version of his track “NY State Of Mind”, while traveling through time & his memories. Not exactly sure how the ad, Nas, and Hennessy all correlate with each other here, but it’s still definitely worth the watch nonetheless.

Nas’s daughter Destiny ventured with a new business that plays off her father’s first iconic album, Illmatic.

Lipmatic is a new line of lip gloss that Destiny Jones has released in 4 glammed out colors, all of witch co-signed by Nasty Nas.

The rapper commented on his Instagram account.

He swooned, “It’s so ILL to see @LipMatic launch. Scoop that up! Made for beautiful lips everywhere…. Created by my very own Princess Destiny. It’s great to watch her plans unfold! #lipmatic”
