Drake Debuts New Stone Island Chain From Ben Baller

Drizzy sees the new chain for the first time in a video posted by the jeweler.

Drake has been rocking a lot of Stone Island gear on his European tour, and he's now got some flashy jewelry to match it. Drake and sought-after jeweler Ben Baller met up in Manchester to do a handoff, debuting a shiny new chain on Instagram today.

I met @champagnepapi at the Apple Store in the Beverly center in 2008. From that day on I fucked with The Boy heavy. I was picking him up from the airport, getting him cars, trees and showing him my city like a real big homie does. #SoFarGone dropped and shit hit the fan. Then #ThankMeLater, then #TakeCare and He would take me on tour to be apart of the show giving out chains to random girls in the audience. One time at a sold out show in San Jose, Drake forgot where we were because he screamed out "LA what's good???!!!!" And that Bay Area crowd boo'd 😭LOUD😩. It felt like that southwest commercial, Wanna get away? I back stepped off that stage dumb fast 😂 In 2012 I started my family and he became the biggest superstar in the 🌎 and we lost communication... So 9 years later were here in Manchester U.K. to finally have our full circle moment. More life and more jewels to come bro #OVO #TheBoyMeetsWorldTour #IFANDCO #StoneIsland

A video posted by Ben Baller 🇰🇷 (@benballer) on Feb 11, 2017 at 11:26am PST

From the looks of the chain in the clip, it's based on Italian brand Stone Island's compass logo, and also features the words "on tour" at the bottom. Ben also gave a closer look at the back of the piece, which reads "BINGING THAT CERTY" with Drake's "6 God" logo just below it.

Drake is in the middle of his The Boy Meets World Tour. Earlier this week he revealed that his More Life project would be complete in one and a half to two weeks time.

After 2 canceled flights, NOTHING can stop the movie me and The Boy are about to make in the U.K. I'm finally on my way now... ✈️🇬🇧 #OVO x #IFANDCO

NEWS: Drake On Donald Trump: "F*** That Man"

Drake On Donald Trump: "F*** That Man"

Drake offers some words on "all this bullshit going on in the world."

Drake generally isn't known to speak on politics, but it seems that Donald Trump's recent actions have inspired him to take a stand. The OVO rapper used a section of one of his recent shows in Europe to talk about the "bullshit" he sees going on in the world, and how important it is to bring people together in times like these.

— DJ Akademiks (@IamAkademiks) February 6, 2017

"For some reason in my room, they've got the TV set to CNN," he said. "Every day I wake up, I see all this bullshit going on in the world. People trying to tear us apart, people trying to make us turn against each other. So tonight, my proudest moment isn't selling tickets or having people sing my songs, my proudest moment -- if you take a look around in this room, you'll see people of all races and all places."

While he never mentioned Trump by name, the message was clear. "Show love, celebrate life, more life, and more music," he continued. "If you think one man can tear this world apart, you're out of your motherfucking mind. It's on us to keep this shit together. Fuck that man."

Drake also spoke of the possibility of a Young Money Reunion show at a recent concert in London. His More Life playlist is due out later this month.

J. Cole Announces "2014 Forest Hills Drive" Tour [Update: Tour Dates Announced]

J. Cole will be heading on the road for a "2014 Forest Hills Drive" tour.

J. Cole's new album may be his most successful one yet, not only that, it could very well be his best project since his mixtape days. 2014 Forest Hills Drivehas already gone gold, and is quickly en route to achieving platinum certification, as it hovers near the 800k mark in total sales.

With the album still in rotation and staying strong on the charts, the rapper has announced a tour to go along with it. This is probably the most promotion/marketing he's done for the album yet, as he dropped it quietly without any official singles (although "Apparently" seems to be the chosen song, as it received an official music video and is now climbing the Hot 100 singles chart).

Today the rapper revealed a flyer for the tour, which you can peep up top. Stay tuned for the full list of tour dates.

[Update: Tour Dates Announced]

After letting fans know he'd be heading on the road in support of his new album, Cole has now followed up with tour dates for both the U.S. and Europe.

Peep both tour flyers above to see if he's coming to a city near you. The tour kicks off at the beginning of March in Eugene, Oregon, and will run through the U.S. until April 7th. From there Cole heads to Switzerland on April 30th, and he'll remain overseas until May. For the U.S. tour he'll be joined by Bas, Cozz and Omen, and if you're in Europe you'll be lucky enough to catch Jhene Aiko, Pusha T, Bas, Cozz and Omen with Cole.

Edit: there is a third tour flyer, titled "Act 3," with dates that will run through out the summer. For this leg of the tour, Cole will bring along Big Sean, YG and Jeremih. Peep that up top.

Two Members Of Nicki Minaj's Tour Team Stabbed In Philadelphia, One Killed

Two men who were working with Nicki Minaj on her upcoming tour were stabbed outside a bar in Philly. One has died while the other is in critical condition.

Nicki Minaj delivered some sad news to her fans this afternoon. De'Von Pickett and Eric Parker, who had flown to Philadelphia to assist Nicki Minaj with her tour rehearsals, were both stabbed outside of a bar in the city last night. Pickett died from his wounds, while Parker is still in critical condition.

According to Nicki's post on Instagram, the two men had been in town for the tour for two days before the attack. She described the event as "Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad."

Fabolous has also expressed his condolences for Pickett, and extended prayers for Parker. The rapper explained that he had worked extensively with both men in the past, and described them both as hard-working and loyal.

View both Nicki and Fab's posts, as well as the local news report below.

The real is back pic.twitter.com/cABlV6OJCA

— J. Cole (@JColeNC) February 13, 2015

The real is back.

As his peers tear up NBA All-Star Weekend with new projects and huge shows, J. Cole decided now is the time to announce his next move. Via his Twitter account, J. Cole let the news go that he and Dreamville are hitting the road for the first leg of the Forest Hills Drive Tour. The first 20 dates are all scheduled for smaller markets that don’t always get the big shows in their town which ties in with Cole’s album title and dedication to his home town. The first leg of the tour will make 20 stops and Cole is giving the tour a cinematic feel. Both flyers are designed like movie posters and the tour dates will be broken down into acts, the first called “Hometown.” Joining Cole on tour will be Bas, Cozz and Omen. Check out the dates and flyers below.

This first run is for all the cities that never get no love.. I feel you. Forest Hills Drive Tour. See you in a few. pic.twitter.com/VuUE22YE19

— J. Cole (@JColeNC) February 13, 2015

The Dreamville team keeps everything in-house and the tour looks like it will be a representation of the crew’s tight-knit relationship. In an interview with XXL, Bas broke down the team’s unity. “It’s a level of trust we all reached with each other. It probably came first from Cole getting to a point where he’s empowering our executives and everyone. I think that’s something we all do well. We empower each other. That builds a great amount of trust. Plus, it’s easy. The vibes, it’s so naturally inclined. Cole and I, we go out and party on the road all the time, so to do a song like “Lit” we can go to the studio and just have fun with it because it’s a vibe that comes natural. Plus, we all believe in each other and all we want to see everyone succeed. Even down to the production [being] in-house. Ced, who produced “Lit,” produced like four joints on Last Winter, he’s Cole’s stage manager on the road. Ron Gilmore, whose pretty much produced on every song—he has an executive producer credit—he plays keys for Cole on the road. These are all people that come up together. It’s a natural thing.”
