Meek Mill Makes It Clear He Wasn't Behind Nicki Minaj Burglary
"Do it look like I rob people?"
Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj's L.A. home was burglarized for $200,000 in jewelry, with sources reporting that personal items like picture frames and clothing were intentionally damaged and destroyed. The alleged "personal" nature of the robbery led to fans discussing and joking about the possible involvement of Meek Mill, who dated Nicki for over a year before the two broke up in January. Insane as the idea is, Meek was still asked about the burglary by a TMZ cameraman last night. The Philly rapper made it very clear that he had nothing to do with the break-in.
"Do it look like I rob people?" he asked, hanging his chains out of his car window. "I got about 450 on my neck, about 80 on the wrist. Do I look like I rob people?"
When the paparazzi followed up with a question about whether Meek had spoken to Nicki since the burglary, he quickly shut the conversation down. "You asking too many fucking questions about my personal life. Get to it," he said, before closing his window on the paps.
Last we heard, Meek Mill was in the studio with DJ Mustard working on some new music. He released his long-awaited DC4 mixtape last year.

Nicki Minaj's LA Mansion Robbed For $200K
Nicki Minaj has been robbed.
Bad news for Nicki Minaj. Earlier this week, the Young Money rapper's Los Angeles mansion has been robbed. With the inside trashed and much jewelry snatched, the total amount taken is estimated to be $200K.
It's been speculated that the attack may have been personal, as picture frames, clothing, and perfume bottles were found gratuitously destroyed. Based on the amount of furniture that was flipped over, it seems as though the burglars were frantically searching for something. It was a break-and-entering.
Nicki was out of town during the burglary, and thus far, there are no suspects. Police are still browsing Nicki's security footage.
