NEW MUSIC: DJ Khaled - Shining Feat. Beyoncé & Jay Z

DJ Khaled - Shining Feat. Beyoncé & Jay Z

DJ Khaled drops "Shining" with Jay Z and Beyonce to make Grammy Night 2017 the biggest ever.

DJ Khaled has made Grammy night a movie for everybody, dropping a new track "Shining" as the awards closed out. Featuring Jay Z and Beyonce, "Shining" is already a historical moment.
Although Beyonce and DJ Khaled both didn't win the key awards they were gunning for tonight, it's clear that both are Grateful for what they have anyhow. Grateful is the name of DJ Khaled's next album. This is Beyonce's first collaboration with Khaled, and Jay Z's first since "I Got The Keys" off of Major Key.

ALBUMS: Big Sean I Decided.

BIG SEAN - I DECIDED

ALBUM STREAM

Detroit rap star Big Sean finally seems poised to make the full leap into rap’s A-list with his new album I Decided., a wordy cluster of shit-talk and introspective musings. We’ve already posted the hit “Bounce Back,” as well as the early tracks “Moves” and “Halfway Off The Balcony.” The album has guest appearances from Migos, Starrah, Jeremih, The-Dream, Sean’s Twenty88 partner Jhené Aiko, and a full-rant-mode Eminem — making rape jokes and rapping about killing Donald Trump. (Eminem has been trending all night just based on the strength of his “No Favors” guest verse.) The album also has some cover art that reminds me of It Follows, the best Detroit-set horror movie of recent years. (It’s not that much better than Don’t Breathe, but it is better.) And right now, you can use Spotify to stream the whole album below.

I Decided. is out now on G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam.

Fabolous "The Young OG Project" Trailer

Fabolous "The Young OG Project" Trailer

Fabolous shares the full trailer for his upcoming album "The Young OG Project."

Yesterday Fabolous announced some big news in the forms of a new album and a deal with Roc Nation. With The Young OG Project set to drop on Christmas day, the NY vet now shares a full trailer (which was hinted at in his video announcement yesterday) for the digital-only release.
Beginning with (SFW) footage of Loso in the shower, the video then runs us through the flossy accoutrements of the rapper's life -- including, but not limited to, a slick tuxedo, gold chains, stacks of Benjamins, plush bathrobes and bottles of expensive bubbly. Given a window into Fabolous' luxurious life, we now just have to wait a matter of weeks for new music.

AUDIO: J. Cole – Fire Squad (VERYY HOTTT)

J. Cole – Fire Squad

J. Cole delivered a top 5 album of 2013 in Born Sinner and he hopes to be perceived the same in 2014 with Forest Hills Drive. One of the songs that will surely be a fan-favorite is Fire Squad, the sixth track on the LP that gives off that classic Cole vibe.
One aspect of the song you will quickly grasp is the name-dropping of a few big-name artists. Those artists include Eminem, Justin Timberlake & Iggy Azalea. So, why these artists? Well, maybe you didn’t realize it at first glance, but all 3 artists are white. Basically, Cole calls out these white artists for appropriating black culture, heavily referring to awards shows. I’m sure Cole meant no harm with these lines but you know how lyrics can be taken out of proportion.
History repeats itself and that’s just how it goes / Same way that these rappers always bite each other’s flows/ Same thing that my nigga Elvis did with rock ‘n’ roll / Justin Timberlake, Eminem and then Macklemore."
He raps later on, "While silly nigga argue over who gon’ snatch the crown / Look around my nigga, White people have snatched the sound / This year I’ll be probably go to the awards dappered down / Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile."
He says after, "I’m just playin’, but all good jokes contain true shit / Same rope you climb up on. They’ll hang you with."
Give Fire Squad a listen below and be sure to support good music by pre-ordering the album on iTunes before it hits stores on December 9th.
